Description
The TATA starter wheel for the 168F/170F gasoline engine is made of plastic and is part of the manual start system for the low power unit. It is mounted on the cover of the cooling fan, through the cams it interacts with the starter glass. A starter cord is wound around the wheel. Features of the device and operation In the process of starting the motor, the operator pulls the cord and sets the starter wheel in rotation, which transmits movement through the glass to the motor engine. The wheel returns to its original position thanks to a special spring. The part has a large number of stiffening ribs and is able to serve for a long time without breakage and wear. The wheel is protected from external influences and mechanical damage by a metal fan grille.
