Description
TATA rings for gasoline engine 168F, 70.50 mm are installed on the piston of the corresponding diameter. Represents the second repair kit. The ring for this kit differs from the standard one by an increased diameter of 0.5 mm and fits the bored cylinder after the second overhaul. Design and purpose The set consists of five half rings: two compression rings (alloyed with steel and cast iron), two oil scraper rings (steel), and a separation ring (steel). The parts are installed in the grooves of the piston and create a high density of its fit to the cylinder walls. This increases the compression and power output of the motor. Timely replacement of piston rings increases the service life of the power unit and increases the wear resistance of the remaining elements of the piston group.
