Description
TATA 68.25 mm rings for the 168F petrol engine are designed for installation on an air-cooled power unit. The kit includes: • Compression rings (2 pcs.): parts are made of cast iron and are designed to seal the gap between the side surface of the piston and the wall of the cylinder liner. • Oil scraper rings (2 pcs.): elements made of steel and designed to remove excess oil from the walls of the liner and prevent the formation of carbon deposits, which can lead to damage to the CPG • Separator ring (1 pc.): the part creates an additional gap between the oil scraper rings, forming channels for oil outflow due to its special shape. Replacing a set of rings is necessary if engine power decreases, compression in the combustion chamber decreases, or white smoke appears in the exhaust system, which indicates oil penetration into the working area of the cylinder.
